This course goes beyond being a tutorial on Hanon exercises. By using them as the foundation, I will introduce you to a significant number of important aspects of piano playing and music making.
This course is suitable for both beginners who want to develop a proper technique and avoid bad playing habits, as well as advanced players seeking ways to rebuild or optimize their technique to reach new heights.
I firmly believe that we should never separate technical and musical aspects while learning the piano. The purpose of technique is to enable us to freely express ourselves musically. Therefore, my approach to these exercises combines some of the best playing strategies, whether it be efficiency or expressivity.
Even if you don't plan to play all of these exercises, you can apply the tips to other pieces or exercises because all the topics covered in this course are truly universal and very common.
You will learn about:
- The most powerful playing efficiency strategies for all the common piano technique types.
- My special tips and tricks on phrasing that will elevate your expressivity to another level.
- How to reduce tension and avoid common health issues and fatigue caused by overuse.
- How to achieve a singing tone on the piano.
- How to nurture your creativity, regardless of the musical material you are working on.
